i’m emma - you can call me em.

i’ve been an artist all my life. pinching clay, noodle necklaces, drawing hearts and stars on whatever surface was closest to my set of markers (sorry, mom and dad). i think baby em would be really, really proud to learn that i’m playing with flowers, and building community through creativity.

Decorative arrangement with yellow flowers, grapefruit slices, lemon, ginger, and a box of tea on a table with a yellow satin fabric backdrop.

  • born in lawrence, kansas, raised in portland, oregon, and around the arts from day one.

i have worked with clay since i was little, which eventually led me to multimedia sculptural work during my time at the university of montana.

in 2018, i got a gig behind the floral counter at whole foods, and never looked back.

flowers offer me a beautiful way to connect to the earth, and create sculptural 3D forms that move quickly through cycles of life ‘til death. they teach me about space, and time. they provide comfort. they are an embodiment of love.
